Give me the desert!

The wind came out of the east today and pushed a big pile of humidity into Alice Springs. It seemed mighty warm and sticky after a beautiful day yesterday. We even turned on the AC units at work today. I checked online this evening and sure enough the humidity was over 20%.

Here’s how unbearable our weather it is here: 82°F Current: Partly Cloudy Wind: N at 6 mph Humidity: 21%

Then I noticed the weather for my home town of Williamsfield, Illinois. Maybe it’s not so bad in Alice after all.

59°F Current: Clear Wind: NE at 3 mph Humidity: 92%

A very wise woman once told me that life is about the story we tell at the end of the chapter. If statistics are to be believed, I’m closer to the end of my life than the beginning. I’ve quit the race to see who can have the office with best view or the most impressive job title. I’ve made peace with the fact there are some of my early dreams/goals that will never be realized. I love who I am and the women I have become AND boy do I have stories to tell!
