The boxes have been unpacked and hauled away and order has been restored to the household. Dave pleasantly surprised that only one car load of his belongings were hauled away and donated to charity. Before some of you get all defensive – I tossed few of my things as well. His plastic spaghetti server and pizza pan were in better condition than mine. I’m still pondering paint colors, but I’ll go ahead and give you the dime tour. Then when I’ve painted the place you can be amazed by the before and after pictures.

We’re located in the south east corner of Alice Springs tucked up next to the McDonald Range.

It’s not as big as either of us is used to, but it’s a free house and we’re together. It’s an unbeatable combination in the form of a two story townhouse with a carport on the front and a patio and tine yard in the back facing the golf course.

We have two bedrooms, two baths and an office (aka – the man space) upstairs. One main floor is the living and dining rooms, kitchen, pantry and powder room.

A very wise woman once told me that life is about the story we tell at the end of the chapter. If statistics are to be believed, I’m closer to the end of my life than the beginning. I’ve quit the race to see who can have the office with best view or the most impressive job title. I’ve made peace with the fact there are some of my early dreams/goals that will never be realized. I love who I am and the women I have become AND boy do I have stories to tell!
